It's a Flustered Friday Card

Wrapping up this week of new image cards is this Friday's card which reflects how we all feel at times...

Supplies:
                 Ruffle Your Feathers  3710F
                 Owl B. Flustered  3714NN
                 Fancy Feather  1569E
                 1 Action Wobble Spring
                 Memento Ink - Expresso Truffle
                 Scissors
                 Stardust Pen
                 Copper Gel Pen
Cardstock - yellow, light green, lime green
                                       taupe dotted scrapbook paper
                 Double Sided Adhesive
                 Colored Pencils
                 Mounting foam

Cut lime green cardstock 5" x 10", score, and fold in half to create a 5" x 5" card base. Cut light green cardstock 4 3/4" square and the yellow paper to a 4 1/2" square. Tape the light green paper to the card base. Lay aside.
Stamp Owl B. Flustered on the yellow square in the middle. When dry, tape the yellow square to the prepared green cardstock.  Stamp a second time on extra yellow cardstock and color the owl. Cut out the owl image.
Stamp the Fancy Feather three times on the scrapbook paper and cut around the images.
Stamp Ruffle Your Feathers sentiment on the dotted paper and trim to a rectangle.
Peel off the paper on the top of the Action Wobble. Adhere it to the back of the Owl B. Flustered image. Peel off the paper on the bottom and press it on the center of the stamped owl image on the yellow square. You should now have an owl that wiggles.
Use the Copper Gel Pen and the Stardust Pen to create swirls and fill in the star on the background of the owl. Tape the sentiment in the lower right corner.
Cut small pieces of the mounting tape to stick on the Fancy Feathers and place them around the main owl image.

You will now have a wonderfully fun card that takes the Friday frustrations and dissolves them into chuckles. I love the craziness of the owl and how the Action Wobble makes it come alive. :-)

I hope that this week has given you some fun, creative ideas to use with our new stamps.

        Happy Stamping!
