Wednesday's Question: RV There?

It is Wednesday, the middle of the week, and the question is: "RV There Yet?"  Today's card features travelers somewhere in the Southwest desert and the kids are asking the question that make all parents cringe!

Supplies
                       Stamps used:
                            Spiral Sun  -  1101B
                            Desert Scene w/Stream  -  1304R
                            RV  -  3723J
                            RV There?  -  3725C

Memento Ink - Tuxedo Black, Peanut Brittle
                       Scissors
                       Double sided Adhesive
                       Colored Pencils or markers
                       Cardstock  8 1/2" x 11" - cream, white and blue
                       Mounting tape
                       Southwest Corner Punch
                       Stardust Pen

Cut the blue cardstock to 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". Score and fold so card measures 4 1/4" x 5 1/2". Punch lower corners with SW punch. Lay aside.
Stamp Desert Scene with Tuxedo Black ink on cream cardstock and trim edges so when laid on top of folded card there is a 1/8" border of the blue showing. Use punch on all four corners.
Color the scene with colored pencils as desired. I tried to use shades of browns and taupes with accents of green to give the sense of the vastness and beauty of the desert. Stamp Spiral Sun in upper right corner with Peanut Brittle ink. Use the Stardust Pen on the rays of the sun image.
Stamp the Spiral Sun (2nd time) with Peanut Brittle, the RV and the sentiment on white cardstock with Tuxedo Black. Color. Cut around the RV and cut around the center of the Spiral Sun. Cut the saying, RV There? into a rectangular shape.  Swipe the paper edge of the words with Tuxedo Black and mat with cream cardstock that has also been swiped along the edges with Tuxedo Black.
Adhere small pieces of mounting tape to back of RV image and the center of the Spiral Sun. Place sun in the sky and RV in the lower middle of the scene. Tape the sentiment in the upper left section at an angle.
When I showed this to my husband, he laughed, because we have had many times with our kids when traveling where that was the constant question!

Check back tomorrow for the 4th installment.
Blessings!  JoLayne
