Tuesday's Card is on the Hunt

Here is Tuesday's installment of our newly released stamps used to make another handsome masculine card.

Supplies used:
                           Serengeti Tree   2206K
                           Hunter Silhouette   3727JJ
                           Reason & Faith   3728G
                           (stamps by Stamps on Fire)
                           Versamark Watermark Ink
                           Memento Ink - Northern Pine
Cardstock - dark green, light green, white
                           Southwest Corner Punch
                           Scissors
                           Adhesive - double sided tape
                                               mounting tape

Cut dark green cardstock to create a folded 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card. Stamp Serengeti Tree onto card front with Versamark, placing image so it doesn't overlap.
Stamp "Reason & Faith" on white cardstock, trim, punch corners with SW punch and swipe edges with Northern Pine ink.  Adhere to light green cardstock, trim with 1/8" border, use SW punch on corners and lay aside.
Stamp Hunter Silhouette on white cardstock and cut around the image. Adhere to light green cardstock and trim around so there is a border. You could swipe around the edges, although I did not do that in this sample.
Now take the card base and decide how you want the images to be placed. (I found that the placement of the Hunter Silhouette fit nicely between two of the watermark trees. Yours may be different depending on where the trees were stamped.)   Once you have it the way you like it, use the mounting tape to adhere the images so it has a slight dimensional look.
Sometimes it is so hard to find stamps that address a more masculine audience, but with this one,( and the others from the Into the Woods set), creating a card for your special guy has become easier.  You could switch it up by placing the Reason & Faith image on the inside and use other stamps as the front greeting...ex. Happy Birthday, Thinking of You, etc.  The possiblities are unlimited.

Thanks for reading this blog and check in again tomorrow for another installment.
